Chase Resourcing are looking to recruit a Nurse Coordinator Clinical Trials and Bioequivalence studies for their Client in the Middle East

The Nurse Coordinator Clinical Trials will provide patient care for assigned patients and will act as the charge nurse for each shift.

The Nurse Coordinator coordinates staff activities and acts as resource through shift to ensure adequate nursing and resources for patient care.

This will be a 12-36 month contract and there is a highly beneficial salary package provided.

ABOUT THE NURSE COORDINATOR ROLE

You will be working in the top Hospital in the Middle East.

This is a 10 bed mixed gender Adult Translational Research Unit for patients who have consented to take part in phase 1 clinical drug trials and bioequivalence studies.

You will be working alongside other Nurses and Clinical Research Nurses.

Shifts are generally 4 days on – 12 hour shifts and overtime is available if wanted

DUTIES

  • Supervises nursing care provided by maintaining high visibility with staff and patients on areas of responsibility.
  • Coordinates staff activities and acts as resource throughout shift to ensure adequate nursing and resources for patient care.
  • Addresses issues using the problem solving process and utilizes the nursing chain of command appropriately.
  • Identifies areas where staff’s clinical knowledge and skills needs development.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical and Paramedical Students, Interns and Residents.
  • Complies with and participates in Quality Improvement processes and activities.
  • Monitors effectiveness of standards of patient care and nursing policies and procedures and reports deficiencies to Nurse Manager in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • You should be a Registered Nurse in Ireland, UK, USA, Canada, Australia or New Zealand or Western Europe.
  • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • You should have 3 years current clinical experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
  • You should hold specific certification in Pediatric Oncology
