Head of Enterprise Risk Management – Washington

The Head of Enterprise Risk Management will assist the Country CEO to build the newly established unit and expected to harness a strong Risk governance framework covering all divisions of Business.

The Head of Enterprise Risk Management is responsible for providing robust independent oversight and monitoring of liquidity, market, credit/counterparty, operational risk. In doing this, he/she will work closely with the Group Risk Management units to ensure the Group methodologies, policies, procedures and limit frameworks are established in the Branch. Additionally, the potential candidate will build, produce and regularly update the risk report suite to ensure consistency and compliance with the bank’s risk tolerance.

Key Accountabilities of Head of Enterprise Risk Management:

Liquidity Risk

  • Production of daily Liquidity Risk report to ensure the Treasury is operating within the defined structural mismatch limit.
  • Ensure accurate reflection of Group Treasury behavioral model driven outputs are incorporated into the Liquidity reports.
  • Assess the application of pre-defined behavioral assumptions on customers and transactions and contribute to active Balance sheet management.
  • Provide oversight of all aspects of Liquidity Risk including stress testing and contingency funding planning.
  • Develop & enhance the report suite & dashboards to capture risks (including early warning indicators) and facilitate front office make important business decisions.
  • Liaise with local Compliance and Treasury teams to ensure economic trends, business initiatives and their impact on Liquidity positions are discussed and assessed regularly.
  • Quantify portfolio risk, analyze P&L movements, liquidity risk drivers, funding trends/ issues whilst keeping abreast of changing market environments and regulations & develop stress scenarios & impact analysis.
  • Ensure the Bank maintains adequate Capital Equivalency Deposit (CED) and collateral on the USCP program with the FED.

Counterparty Risk

  • Credit Portfolio reporting and management – Economical capital calculation, model governance,general provisioning for expected loss computations & risk dashboard and portfolio reports for theRisk Management Committee
  • Review Murex generated reports and ensures deals executed are within the Approved Product List and within the limits.

Market Risk

  • Consolidation market risk metrics, trend analysis and regular report production to ensure Americas is operating within the Group approved limits.
  • Responsible for monitoring of Interest Rate in the Banking Book managed with an adequate hedges

Operational Risk

  • Conduct the responsibilities of a Business champion and roll out the risk framework which includes, loss data caption, deep dive analysis of operational losses with high frequency or severity
    and put in place mitigating strategies where possible.
  • Conduct Operational risk program elements for Group Treasury such as Risk Self-Assessment (“RSA process”)
  • Establish key control testing, define key risk indicators and monthly monitoring. In addition, act as the 2nd line of defense in escalating operational risk events to senior management.

Other

  • Ensure that all risk reports are reviewed, validated and analyzed before and after dissemination to stakeholders.
  • Report, escalate limit breaches and maintain a log.
  • Participate in risk limit and guideline setting process via engagement with the 1st line, Group Treasury, Finance and other areas in Risk Management.
  • Attend and contribute to monthly Branch Risk Committee meetings.
  • Actively contribute to the implementation and improvement of methodology, country addendums – policies and processes related to risk management.
  • Assist in delivering certain strategic projects, especially the IT infrastructure upgrade by ensuring Murex upgrade, its interface with key settlement and core banking systems and the report designs are defined and automated.
  • Ensure the franchise operate within all US, Curacao and UAE regulatory ratios.
  • Conduct and deliver ad-hoc assignments and analysis for Senior Management and Regulators
  • Liaise with Internal and external Audits & regulators, develop responses and ensure Americas compliance.

Knowledge & Experience Needed for role of Head of Enterprise Risk Management :

  • The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant working experience.
  • Prior US centric experience especially in Enterprise Risk Management is essential.
  • USA specific regulatory requirements and processes are essential.
  •  Post-graduate qualification(s) or professional qualification in Economics/Finance.
  • Proficient in all Wholesale Banking and Treasury products, systems and processes are is highly desired and is a plus.
  • Able to manage and communicate effectively with Regulators, Senior Management and other external stakeholders.
  •  Proven ability to plan, lead and manage change within a strong leadership team.
  • Strong analytical, conflict resolution and problem solving skills.

The IT Project Manager is a vital part of the Business systems team working alongside PMO in initiating, executing and closing out all Business systems projects on time and within budget. This highly skilled professional will be responsible for all Business systems projects such as new ERP implementations, ERP Upgrades, and BI implementation.

Key Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager :

  • Primary responsibility of the Project Manager, under the direction of Business systems leadership, is to co-manage a multi-year, multi-million dollar ERP Implementation program (Dynamics 365 Enterprise for operations) with a consulting project manager. ERP program comprises of several sub-projects/waves for global deployments spanning multiple business teams,and involve migration activities from legacy ERPs.
  • Develop and maintain key project management artifacts (i.e., project scope, requirement documents, project resource plans, issue logs, change logs, project documentation, risk mitigation plans, and migration plans).
  • Manage project activities across the entire project life cycle on time and within budget with acceptable quality.
  • Prepare and communicate regular project status reports to key stakeholders.
  • Manage, prioritize and deliver multiple business systems projects in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Appropriately choose between agile, waterfall and iterative project methodology to suit the current project at hand.
  • Manage client (internal users) expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and gain sponsor approval and signoff of the project documents as per the IT governance policy.
  • Take initiative, prioritize work, manage time and respond effectively to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Exercise sound political and environmental judgment as appropriate to support successful project implementation.

Requirements for role of IT Project Manager :

  • Minimum 8+ years of ERP and Project Management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Computer Science, Accounting/Financial or other Technical field preferred; PMP certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Dynamics ERP project management experience with at least one full lifecycle multi-site global implementation
  • Minimum 5+ years of functional Dynamics AX, or NAV experience
  • 2+ years of Dynamics finance modules such as AP, AR, GL, FA, and CM
  • Experience in using waterfall, iterative and agile project management methodologies
  • Project management Professional designation (PMP) Certification strongly preferred
  •  Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with different levels of internal customers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Technical understanding of ERP systems and their underlying architecture including operational modules such as manufacturing, rental management, supply chain, sales orders, field ticketing.
  • Team player; Able to work effectively with Corporate ERP and regional IT teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Working knowledge of planning and execution of data conversion and integration processes as part of a Dynamics AX deployment
  • Strong knowledge of basic finance daily and month end procedures
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and their flow in AX

The Project Manager will need to have experience in Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / Bio Pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Develop a communication plan for all involved in the project including the team, contractors engaged in the project and stakeholders.
  • Lead weekly coordination meetings and provide feedback to design teams
  • Manage timeliness of deliverables, including all design milestones specified in the SOW such as 30%, 70%, and 100% detail designs
  • Prepare reports on manhours expended vs. those planned, actual progress vs. scheduled progress, and details for work to be completed during the upcoming two-week period including parties responsible for all tasks and deliverables
  • Manage project safety file and Risk Register, including assigning owners to all ongoing risks and updating stakeholders on mitigation actions
  • Track hours expended by all personnel and overall project progress, and report these numbers to stakeholders at weekly progress meetings
  • Manage the Design and Vendor Subcontractors scope in terms of schedule, deliverables, KPIs
  • Embed the Company and  C5 Safety Culture within our team and our subcontractors
  • P and L Responsibility for the project
  • Develop futher business off the project including Instrument and Electrical Scope

Requirements of Project Manager:

  • Engineering Degree preferable Electrical Discipline
  • PE Engineer Preferable
  • Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) required
  • Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / Bio Pharmaceutical Industry experience mandatory
  • Has worked on EPC Projects within the design team to deliver the IFC drawings for Construction.

  • Has worked on EPC Projects within the design team to deliver the IFC drawings for Construction.
  • USA Experience Necessary
  • ANSI / TIA / BICSI standards experience / knowledge necessary
  • Familiar with GDP, TOP Walkdowns, Red Line Drawings.
  • Familiar with BIM Modeling, Execution Plans, Documentation, process and workflows, BIM 360 Glue, Clash Detection and Resolution
  • Responsible of making sure all Punch list items are closed.

The Director Clinical Nursing Surgical Department will assume 24 hour responsibility in providing a leadership role in the overall coordination of a group of nursing units.

DUTIES OF THE DIRECTOR CLINICAL NURSING SURGICAL DEPARTMENT

  • Ensure staff, nursing staff, students, interns and residents practice within established policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice and patient care.
  • Complies with hospital infection control and safety protocols.
  • Staff Management to include recruitment, education, training, evaluation and development as well as preparation and delegation of work schedules and workflow.
  • Reviews, plans, manage and monitor the area budget.
  • Develops, modifies and ensures implementation of Policies and Procedures.
  • Facilitates the development, implementation and evaluation of educational activities to meet the identified needs of managers, nursing and support personnel.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of Nursing, Medical and Paramedical students, Interns and Residents.
  • Promotes Hospital and Nursing’s missions and demonstrates established values.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE DIRECTOR CLINICAL NURSING SURGICAL DEPARTMENT

  • Registered Nurse with a current license in home country.
  • Bachelor Degree
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing Management.
  • Minimum 8 years clinical nursing experience which must include 5 years of progressive administrative position AND 2 years in Director position.
