    The Accountant will be a highly motivated individual who will be able to work to tight deadlines and will be working directly with the partners on a large client base including, medium size companies, small companies and sole traders.

    The Role:

    • The accountant will be responsible for the preparation of year end accounts for audit and non-audit clients
    • Assisting junior staff members
    • Preparation of management accounts
    • The Accountant will be responsible for the preparation of sole trader accounts & rental statements
    • Completing audit engagements for small and medium size companies
    • Assisting in book-keeping engagements
    • Assisting partners in special client engagements
    • Completing and submitting Corporation tax returns through ROS
    • Identify opportunities to provide addition value added services to clients
    • Managing relationship with clients through the year and various deadlines affecting those clients and advising them on same
    • Preparation of revenue audit files

    The Candidate:

    • The Accountant may be part Qualified with a professional body (ACA / ACCA)
    • You should have at least 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
    • Ability to work individually and within a team
    • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure, tight deadlines with the ability to prioritise work
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Knowledge of Relate “Drive”, “Accounts Production” and “Corporation Tax” would be an advantage.
    • Auditing experience a must

    Factory Manager

    Factory Manager required by Chase Resourcing to work for our Client in Munster.  The Factory Manager will ensure the factory achieves continuously improving results in the areas of quality, cost, service, and safety.

    The Factory Manager will oversee the factory operations including Health/Safety/Environment, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, HR, Process Technology, etc.

    The successful candidate will have proven strengths in operations management, leadership, people development, continuous improvement, technical skills in Canning technologies or similar.

    We seek a candidate who has experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • The Factory Manager will be the owner of the manufacturing operations for the plant, and the delivery of their objectives.
    • Responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment across the factory while ensuring alignment with site corporate policies.
    • Execute & communicate a clear vision for the future to inspire and drive the business to achieve and surpass business goals and objectives (such as Safety, Productivity, Inventory levels, etc).
    • Develop operational plans to meet business objectives.
    • Owner of the Factory financial operating budget, delivering YOY savings through cost saving initiatives and adhering to global Inventory guidelines.
    • Define and manage the Capital budget for the factory in line with the relevant business strategic plan.
    • Responsible for creating a culture of continuous improvement, driving operational efficiencies through good manufacturing practice.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize cost and deliver same to the bottom line.
    • Understand the key success factors of the business, exercise sound judgement and inspire confidence in our customers. Develop strong insight and understanding of commercial elements of the primary technology and gain an insight understanding of customer strategic objectives.

    Requirements for the Factory Manager role

    • Bachelor’s Degree required – Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Food Science preferred, from an accredited institution.
    • 5 – 10 years of progressive experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment in the Food, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Industry; operating at senior management level or above.
    • Proven track record in delivering best in class manufacturing performance to support and achieve commercial objectives.
    • Experience in managing significant operational budgets
    • Understanding all relevant Quality and HSE regulations.
    • Certified Six Sigma desirable.
    • Strong Financial acumen and proven project manager.
    • Industrial relations experience is advantageous.

    Key competencies:

    • Likes autonomy and is proactive – takes ownership and is proactive in working with the site management team to deliver to stated goals.
    • Building effective teams – invests time to build a talented team in all roles.
    • Relationship builder with excellent communications skills – with relevant stakeholders (working in a matrix environment).

    Part time Nurse – Nationwide

    Chase Resourcing are delighted to announce that we are looking for a part time Nurse for Telephone Triage positions nationwide.  The Part time Nurses will work as Telephone Triage Nurses and will be the first point of contact for patients.

    We have part time Nurse positions in the following locations Carlow, Killarney, Wexford, Waterford, Wicklow and Carlow.

    These roles are part-time or full time role.

    The Part time Nurses will work as a Telephone Triage Nurse and will be the first point of contact for patients.

    DUTIES 

    • To provide nurse triage and nurse consultation in accordance with protocols and guidelines
    • Participate in the development of the triage function.
    • Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities.
    • Ensure accurate notes of all consultations are recorded in the patients’ notes
    • Ensure the accurate recording of all outcomes of patient calls
    • Attend and participate in co-operative meetings as required
    • Liaise with other medical services – Acute Hospitals, Ambulance Service etc.
    • Participate in the training of future Triage Nurses employed as the business expands and develops
    • The Triage Nurse must be available to attend courses for professional development

    REQUIREMENTS  FOR THE PART TIME NURSE Carlow, Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Kerry

    • The Part time Nurse should be registered and continue to be registered in the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais(Irish Nurses & Midwives Board)
    • The Triage Nurse shall hold and continue to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance
    • The Triage Nurse may from time to time be required to carry out tasks in addition to your normal duties but such tasks will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.
    • The Triage Nurse shall observe and comply with all reasonable instructions and directions from time to time given by the Nursing Managers and/or the Manager.

    Training

    • During the 4 month probationary period the part time Nurse will complete an 8 week intensive training mentorship course.
    • Training will be provided in the use of the call management system, the call handling system, nurse triage protocols and guidelines and software used.

    BENEFITS

    • Hourly rates are linked to National Pay Agreements.
    • You shall be paid remuneration for hours worked from 0.01am until 11.59pm on Sundays and Public Holidays at a rate of double time
    • Increments shall be payable annually to Triage Nurses on the anniversary date of their contract.
    • You shall work on average 6 weekends in every eight weekends.(3/4 time position).
    • The Triage Nurse shall work on average 4 weekends in every eight weekends.(1/2 time position).
    • There are part-time and full-time positions available; part-time is 19 hours per week and full-time is 30 hours per week.

    IT Operations Manager – Munster

    Main Responsibilities of the IT Operations Manager include:

    • Providing implementation/planning/ leadership and subject matter expertise in the areas of: IT applications, infrastructure, telephony, network, organisational intelligence (data), etc.
    • Management of operational & technical projects ensuring that they are of the highest quality and delivered on time and within budget.
    • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including cloud migration strategy and feature adoption.
    • Lead IT infrastructure purchasing decisions and operational budget allocation.
    • Ensure accurate monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting of network connectivity and service availability.
    • Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, quality and accountability.
    • Identify and recommend new technologies, both proprietary and open source, that will further benefit our systems and network operations.
    • Promote Infrastructure as code (IAC), to manage configurations and automate provisioning of infrastructure and the configuration of servers.
    • Deliver weekly status reports with performance trending analysis.
    • Performing other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications/Experience Required for the IT Operation Manager role:

    • Experience  in leading a technology team, including employee development/management.
    • Proven experience in the leading of operations and technical implementation projects.
    • Working knowledge across the whole spectrum of IT-related      functions (including servers), infrastructure, virtualization, telephony, relational databases, and cloud technologies.
    • Understanding of data analysis, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
    • Understanding of On Prem to Cloud evolution and knowledge when to use which one, as well as experience working with public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
    • Strong working knowledge of physical IT infrastructures (e.g. Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.)
    • LEAN, Agile, and ITSM knowledge is preferred.
    • 3rd level qualification in IT or related discipline
