  • Maintenance and repair of a fleet of heavy goods vehicles, including articulated lorries, tractor units, concrete bottles, tippers, trailers & vans.
  • Fault finding and preventative maintenance.
  • Coordination or service and repairs.
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance activities.
  • Completion of all task in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.

Core Skills:

  • Extensive experience with diesel machinery.
  • Experience working with quarry machinery a distinct advantage.
  • Trained in heavy plant equipment.

Corporate Financial Accountant – COUNTY KERRY

Chase Resourcing are looking to recruit a Corporate Financial Accountant for our Client in County Kerry.

The Corporate Financial Accountant will provide Business Partnering support to Corporate Functions, drive process efficiencies and take responsibility for completion of accounts including G/L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

Completion of monthly accounts for a Group of Corporate entity

  • Preparation of monthly accounts for a group of corporate entities, and completion of same on Hyperion
  • Completion of Balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Co-ordination of year end and liaising with Auditors to ensure sign off on accounts
  • Completion of Statutory Financial Statements and ensure filing of same
  • Monthly calculation of Foreign Exchange Transactions & posting of such
  • Support Shared Service Centre in the preparation of monthly VAT Returns
  • Completion of Quarterly Cash flow Forecasts for Treasury Department.

Process Efficiencies Projects

  • Responsible for driving process efficiency projects within Corporate Accounts
  • Work with other back office functions to identify process efficiencies, particularly in the area of month end close

Ad Hoc Projects

  • Involvement in projects and supporting the Corporate GL Controller and the Controller as required

Provide Business Partnering to Corporate Functions

  • Assist function heads with Budget compilation and target setting
  • Provide support to function heads in identifying efficiencies, time & cost savings
  • Report and analyse monthly variances versus Budget and Last year.

 Your Ideal profile:

  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant and have at least 1 years+ post qualification experience in practice or similar role in Industry
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy essential
  • Good organisational skills with a proven ability to manage a work load
  • High standard of MS Office combined with general proficiency in IT systems, preferably SAP and Hyperion
  • Ability to work effectively with staff based in other Countries/jurisdictions
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange and financing instruments is an advantage

The Telephone Triage Nurse will be the first point of contact for patients.

Hours of work would be typically 14-16 hours per week mainly evenings, weekends and overnighters.

 

DUTIES 

  • To provide nurse triage and nurse consultation in accordance with protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in the development of the triage function.
  • Participate in the administrative and professional responsibilities.
  • Ensure accurate notes of all consultations are recorded in the patients’ notes
  • Ensure the accurate recording of all outcomes of patient calls
  • Attend and participate in co-operative meetings as required
  • Liaise with other medical services – Acute Hospitals, Ambulance Service etc.
  • Participate in the training of future Triage Nurses employed as the business expands and develops
  • The Triage Nurse must be available to attend courses for professional development

REQUIREMENTS  FOR THE TRIAGE NURSE 

  • The Telphone Triage Nurse should be registered and continue to be registered in the Register of Nurses maintained by An Bord Altranais(Irish Nurses & Midwives Board)
  • The Triage Nurse shall hold and continue to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • The Triage Nurse may from time to time be required to carry out tasks in addition to your normal duties but such tasks will be both reasonable and within your capabilities.
  • The Triage Nurse shall observe and comply with all reasonable instructions and directions from time to time given by the Nursing Managers and/or the Manager.

Training

  • During the 4 month probationary period the Triage Nurse will complete an 8 week intensive training mentorship course.
  • Training will be provided in the use of the call management system, the call handling system, nurse triage protocols and guidelines and software used.

BENEFITS

  • Hourly rates are linked to National Pay Agreements.
  • You shall be paid remuneration for hours worked from 0.01am until 11.59pm on Sundays and Public Holidays at a rate of double time
  • Increments shall be payable annually to Triage Nurses on the anniversary date of their contract.
  • The Triage Nurse shall work on average 4 in every 10 weekends.
  • There are part-time positions available; part-time is 14-19 hours per week.

The HR Manager will advise and guide management on HRM initiatives and Employee relations issues.  The HR Manager will maintain a positive industrial relations environment with the Union and implement appropriate alternative strategies for managing industrial relations onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR function in a large manufacturing facility.
  • Responsible for Performance management.
  • Advise on best practice approaches to Change Management.
  • Responsible for ensuring best practice Recruitment & Selection policies.
  • Communication – manage Employee Engagement.
  • Implementation of organisational HR systems, policies & procedures as and when required.
  • Advise and guide local management on HRM initiatives & Employee Relations issues.
  • Provide management with the most up-to-date advice on pending and current employment legislation.

Qualifications:

  • Direct experience of dealing with bodies such as the LRC, Labour Court, Rights Commissioners and the Employment Appeals Tribunal.
