    Job Statement

    The educational specialist will plan and implement the inspection and monitoring of institutions of higher education in order to provide an objective evaluation from which the wider society and decision-makers can be assured that institutions of higher education achieve and comply in a sustainable manner with the policies, and national and cultural standards that govern the work of these educational institutions. Essential to this will be ensuring high quality provision and outcomes in the education institutions.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Planning:

    • Carry out data analysis on educational institutions in terms of their inputs, operations and performance from multiple sources.
    • Review and analyze the results of monitoring and evaluation reports for educational institutions.
    • Develop operational plans for the inspection of educational institutions and determine the requirements for their implementation.

    Implementation of Inspection Operations:

    • Implementation of the inspection schedule to conduct planned or unannounced visits to educational institutions in accordance with approved methodologies and frameworks. As well as monitor, analyze and collect evidence against the elements in the inspection framework.
    • Conduct the necessary observations, interviews and meetings within the scope of inspections.
    • Monitoring deviations, irregularities and discrepancies in any of the elements of the framework of inspection of educational institutions.

    Writing reports:

    • Writing reports on the results of visits to educational institutions based on the outcomes from the visits and analysis of data and evidence. Reporting to relevant bodies within the time frame and approved reporting standards.
    • Identify violations and deviations in the educational institution and suggest corrective measures and improvement practices.
    • Preparing the final reports and drawing up strengths, weaknesses and irregularities in complying with policies, standards, specific controls and improvements & Contribute to the preparation and implementation of surveys and studies related to the inspection department and any similar initiatives.

    Development and Improvement

    • Monitor positive practices and positive experiences in educational institutions that can be mainstreamed.
    • Monitoring the general development and improvement of the inputs, operations and performance of educational institutions
    • To support the inspection department and related parties to monitor cases of non-conformity in educational institutions to ensure that they are closed within the specified time frame & Prepare financial efficiency studies to ensure effective use of resources available in educational institutions

    Qualifications and Experience

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A university qualification in the fields of education, business administration, or any similar specialization.
    • At least IELTS 7 Academic for non-native English speakers

    Experience:

    • At least five years’ experience in the field of teaching or management of educational institutions or any similar field preferably in the field of higher education.
    • At least five years’ experience in supervision, inspection or accreditation of educational institutions from an accredited institution.
    • At least two years’ administrative work preferably in higher education.
    • Recent and relevant experience and knowledge in the field of higher education research evidenced through conducting training courses, presenting at conferences, writing research papers and giving lectures etc.

    You will be looking for a 16 year old child who has disabilities and needs round the clock care.  We are putting a team together to focus on the care and rehabilitation of the patient.  We have positions for Staff Nurses with ICU, PICU and/or ER experience and Physical Therapists also.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The Nanny will assist the individual to maintain his activities of daily living in a dignified and respectful manner.

    Requirements 

    • Previous experience working as a Nanny.

    Essential Functions

    • Ensure that the development of new qualifications, and the review of existing qualifications,
      draws on appropriate internal and external academic advice and guidance – particularly, with

    • Design and implement systems and processes to ensure that all qualifications meet the

    • An in-depth knowledge of discipline code conventions and sector code conventions.
    • In-depth knowledge and experience of Qualifications Levels, Credit Value, Notional Learning Hours, Grading and Weightings.
    • Experience of contributing to the enhancement of national education and training quality at national level.
    • Experience of ensuring developments comply with a regulatory framework. In depth knowledge of governmental education policy and of current developments in the education sector.
    • An understanding of the requirements of educational regulatory bodies such as the NQA (UAE based) and international standards such as the General Conditions of Recognition (GCR).
    • A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and assessment tools
    • Project management and budget setting/monitoring skills and experience
    • A good knowledge of worldwide awarding body criteria and conditions of recognition
    • Experience of working in the GCC would be an advantage.
    • Experience of working within a membership organization or an organization with a committee structure.

    Education Requirements

    Essential

    • Degree or equivalent in a subject with high analytical content.

    • Information Technology: 8+ Years

    • Demonstrated proficiency in OLTP/OLAP, Analysis and E-R modelling, developing database structures – Star schemas and Snowflake schemas used in relational, dimensional and multidimensional modelling.
    • Extensive experience in Business Intelligence tools and in query writing, and in SQL tuning
    • Specialised knowledge in Commercial functional domain and data warehousing applications.
    • Strong background in ETL using Informatica PowerCentre 9.x tool with use PDO and integration of different RDBMS as a source/target.
    • Strong background in database concepts like Partitioning, Indexing, Materialized views

    • Log and track any defects discovered during testing so that software engineers can understand and correct errors
    • Use technical tools or native programming languages, to find, identify and diagnose solution defects based on data models or data extracts. Write advanced SQL queries to verify the integrity of databases including data transformations
    • Coordinate user acceptance, performance and beta tests
    • Work with the systems analyst & software engineers to understand the feature requirements and corresponding test approach to deliver quality deliverables
    • Validate test preparation of environments and verify team members are aligned with what needs to occur to build/prepare the test environments
    • Analyse all test results and ensure test cases are updated appropriately based on information discovered or problem resolution
    • Work in all areas as per agreed Enterprise Information Management Policies & Standards

    Job Requirements:

    • 1+ years of Enterprise experience in test automation & test automation tools
    • 3+ years of Enterprise experience in BI/Data Warehousing Quality Assurance testing projects
    • Experience defining test strategies, planning, User Acceptance Testing criteria and performing all testing activities using tools such as HP ALM
    • Experience writing test cases, creating bug reports, executing and tracking testing assignments
    • Knowledge of test automation approaches, processes, and tools including maintenance of the automated test systems
    • Knowledge of SQL for writing complex queries to verify data
    • Familiarity with Object Oriented programming concepts
    • Ability to code in at least one programming language Java, C#, Python or Ruby
    • Exposure to enterprise BI tools such as MicroStrategy, SAP BO, Tableau, IBM Cognos, QlikView. MicroStrategy experience is advantageous
    • Exposure to high volume enterprise data management platforms like Oracle, Teradata, Netezza or similar. Oracle 12C or Oracle Exadata is advantageous
    • Experience in Agile project teams using Jira and/or Confluence
    • Airline domain expertise is advantageous
    • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Commerce, Business Administration

    Job description:

    • The role will deliver rapid value to business users through the use of business intelligence tools to bring insight driven analysis to the forefront of its decision making capability.
    • Provide expert capability through the rapid prototyping and deployment of BI content through MicroStrategy.
    • Deliver analytical capability to business users through the realisation of analytical concepts in the form of reports, dashboards and documents in MicroStrategy.
    • Establish best practice processes for verifying requirements, prototyping, testing, distribution and publication of MicroStrategy content in an agile/iterative environment.
    • Assist in requirements gathering from cross functional selection of end users which translate business questions into prototypes and conceptual design.
    • Deliver reports, documents and dashboards for consumption through web, mobile and distributed reporting platforms.
    • Establish links between this data and our corporate business environments to create holistic macro and micro economy dashboards.
    • Work closely with data modelling and technical teams to find efficiencies to improve the production of scheduled reports.
    • Create reference data, custom groups and hierarchies that support multiple innovative business use cases from single sets of transactional data.
    • Design Visual Insight work spaces for analytical interactions by business users at all levels of the business.
    • Coach the wider business teams in analytical functions and capabilities; help to create an information led culture.

     Job Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience working in an aviation/transport/commercial environment.
    • MicroStrategy certification (9x and 10x)  in the implementation and deployment of:

    o   Dashboards

    o   Documents

    o   Applications

    o   Visual insights

    o   Mobile applications

    • Degree or Honours in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration or Operations Research.
    • 2 – 4+ years working in Agile project delivery.
    • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail, with an understanding of data processing and information systems, tools and applications.
    • Highly developed interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with all divisions of the business department.
