    • To develop and maintain teaching materials and assist with program quality assurance processes.
    • Teachers liaise with Student Counselors, as required. Communicate progress and performance to students and school management/administration.

    Requirements

    • Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching experience in a middle or high school level

    Health Science Teacher

    Graduates who hold a relevant degree in an associated Health Science who do not have the essential teaching qualifications or experience will be provided with specific Teacher Training for the HECMA.

    The curriculum goals are to increase health literacy, improve self-efficacy, enhance social responsibility and introduce students to the Health sector. Students learn to obtain, interpret and apply health information and services in ways that protect and promote personal, family, and community health.

    The HECMA(Health Education and Care for Medical Applications) curriculum isdelivered in all Cycle 3 Girls schools across the UAE (Grades 10, 11 and 12).

    Duties:

    • Teach a new curriculum that covers a range of topics to include Health and Wellness, Anatomy and Physiology,Nutrition, First Aid and Safety, Disease Prevention, Dealing with Accidents and Emergencies.

    • A curriculum that adopts a teaching and learning strategy aligned with vocational education and training.

    • Students acquire safety skills through First Aid training in order to avoid risk of injury to self and others, athome, school, and in the community.

    • Students will enhance their critical thinking and awareness about environmental hazards and their impact.

    • Possess outstanding subject knowledge.

    • Commit to innovation in teaching and learning strategies.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Health-related bachelor’s degree (e.g. Health Sciences, Medical Sciences, Health

    • Valid First Aid certificate.
    • IELTS 6+ for non-native English speakers.

    Curriculum Specialist – Fine Arts

    • Coordination and creation of curriculum design, development and review
